Watching the Nebraska/Ohio State game. The Huskers had a horrible beginning for the year, going 0 and 6. We are now 2 and 6 and are playing one of their best games against the powerhouse. No one gave the the Huskers a chance, but surprisingly, are hanging close.

It is a dreary Saturday. Time change is tonight and we gain an hour of sleep. sleep is no problem for me. The VA prescribed medicines to help me sleep and to reduce night terrors.

Huskers game is now 36-31, Ohio State on top with 2:37 to go.      1:35 left.  Final.. We lost, but even in this lost, there was a lot of good things to bring out of this game...

Everyone is equal in the doctor's office.. Just had a checkup.. Some problems, cholesteral a little high, but all in all, quite healthy for a 57 year old.. But thinking of all of the rich and famous that have recently deceased, money does not guarantee a long and healthy life. If fact, often it means a shorter lifespan, because of the lifestyle change...

Quite a cold day today... Temperature reached about 4. Warmest day in the past several, however. with the past days beginning at -7 and reaching to about 2 above.. Still have about a foot of snow left over from the 14 inches we got last week... Hurry up, Spring!!!

Went to the first day ceremony for the new Nickel at Fort Atkinson State Park, in Ft Calhoun, Nebraska on Tuesday.. Was interviewed by the writer from the Omaha World Herald and found my comments on the front page of the paper that evening..The nickel has the Keelboat on the reverse to commemorate Lewis and Clark's travel up the Missouri and their encampment at Fort Atkinson on Aug 4th, 1804... Really a nice day...
